Chapter notes: Ok, inhale, exhale , inhale, exhale...
Well, this is the first chapter that it's all me, no Merry editing or even looking at it, so I'm anxious if it's gonna be good enough... I guess I'll see about that shortly...
This chapter is not so much misa, it indroduces the storyline of some other characters, as well as a totally new Mahone. And there is a funny sucre too. Of course there is still a misa dialogue, every chapter includes them *winks*

Chapter notes: Ok, inhale, exhale , inhale, exhale...

“Come on guys gather up” Michael starts shouting the next morning in the kitchen
“You forgot the girls” Sofia says entering the room, followed by Sara
“It was about time to wake up Sofia” Linc says looking at her, hiding any expressions from his eyes
“You won’t let that go, will you? Keep being sore at me… How many times I have to tell you that I had to jump through the window that time in-”
“How are you doing?” Michael asks Sara taking her to the other side of the room, so that the others couldn’t hear them
“I’m just fine, thank you…” Sara responds and the tension between them grows
“I mean as fine as that can be” she continues, with a short laugh looking around the room
“Yeah, sorry about that… the warehouse… You probably hate being in a place that resembles so much-” Michael begins to say but she interrupts him, her face looking more serious now
“Michael…I don’t mind about that… I just want for it to be over” she responds and Michael is surprised; her behavior so far had given him the impression that she wasn’t ready to reveal her feelings… Except from that moment in the airport, she had been distant and he was glad to find out that maybe things weren’t as bad as he thought last night
“I think that’s the only thing everyone in this room agrees with… We have the means to end it Sara… It’s not… It’s not like Panama… This time it’s different. I promise” he says while making eye contact with her. They stay like this for a minute; silenced, looking temperately at each other
“Come on, chop-chop, how is it in your language, ladies? We have work to do. Someone needs to shut down that company. Unfortunately, in case you haven’t studied your homework, they really don’t make us any favors by shutting it down themselves” Mahone shouts interrupting the silent moment between them
“We better go” Sara says, thinking that at last she's going to be able to fight back all, and after sharing a last look with Michael, they both start to walk towards the other.
“So, just to make it clear from the start, LJ you’re not part of this. You’re just staying with us till Jane comes to pick you up” Michael says as soon as they reached them
“But Uncle Mike, come on, they ruined my life too…”
“That’s exactly why neither your uncle nor I want you involved in this… Enough is enough; I don’t want you around those people LJ. I’m not risking them harming you, especially after you cannot offer any help. You’re leaving first thing tomorrow” Linc says, echoing Michael's view on the matter, looking at his son in a way that made clear no complains would change his mind.
“Right, then I should better let the A-Team masterminds work without my disturbance” LJ says, pissed off, and furiously exits the room
“Damn that kid-”
“He’s just like you Linc. Stubborn. But don’t worry I’m gonna talk to him later”
“The same goes for you too Sofia” Linc tells her without caring any response to what she just said, “I don’t want you near these guys, especially considering who your boyfriend is”
“Ex-boyfriend. And that’s an extra reason why I will be part of this, Lincoln. They can’t hurt me risking their “precious” agent fury now, can they?” the tone of her voice and the fact that she called him “Lincoln” instead of “Linc” makes him wise enough not to answer at all to this
“Okay, now that we solved those... participation problems can we please start planning?” Michael says breaking the silence that followed Sofia’s statement.
“Well spoken. That explains why I hunted you like this Michael. I always had a special “something” about the brains” Mahone says with a sardonic smile formatting in his face
“Yeah, and if you ever touch those brains you’re gonna get a “something” special for the muscles too. An unbearable dislike that is” Linc warns him
“If we’re done exchanging witticisms,” Michael says interrupting the upcoming cross-talk of the two men, “Sucre here is going to show us the place in which we’re going to trap T-Bag in order to claim that so important book of their “precious” agent. Sucre?”
“Right. Ahh, well, here is the map” Sucre responds unfolding and hanging on the rusty wall a map of Central America; he circles a location with his red pen and continues “And that’s the exact spot of the meeting. It’s near La Paz city; Oh, me and mi vida Maricruz had such a wonderful time there, there is a forest near the town that-“
“Ummm, Sucre…”
“What?... Ohhh…Ammmm, yes, as I was saying it’s near La Paz city, which allows us to easily trick T-Bag since I know every corner of it. It’s gonna be a piece of fresh Porto Rican cake to-”
“Gracias amigo” Michael hastily says, interrupting him, before he starts sharing again irrelevant memories. “Mahone, your turn”
Chapter End Notes: About the choise of the city, I picked one that is near los angeles, where the main action will take place, and could possibly be a city that Sucre would know well, so I ended up in La Paz. Hope there is a forest somewhere near :P
As for Mahone, I always thought he had that kind of "humor", something that will be even more visible in next chapters.
